I'm walkin'. Yes indeed, and I'm talkin'

From the rooftops I see houses, I see counties that border sea.
In the distance foreign mountains, one of those rivers is calling me.

There's only four ways to get unraveled. One is to sleep and the other is travel.
One is a bandit up in the hills. One is to love your neighbor 'till
....his wife gets home

Some kind of vague travelblog, about this n' that, and whatever else I may encounter on the road.

You talk the talk....but can ya walk the walk?

Never did finish off my LEJOG blog (or LEBLOG as I should have called it). That's not good, but its a regular occurance for me. Start something. Finish it (in some capacity) then leave it.

This new challenge is a little simpler. Last year took a bit of preparation, and alot dedicated time to achieve, so this year I've opted for ease (in a way).

This weekend (or next, depending on the weather) I'm going to do the Lyke Wake Walk challange. A 40 mile trek over the North Yorkshire Moors. I should be starting about 9-10pm on saturday night, and will keep heading east for the next 18 hours or so. Torch/moon light being my guide for the first few hours. Theres snakes on the moors, one of the few things in life that terrify me. Terrific!

I'll update when I know a bit more, but at the moment it's just me. Maybe I can coerce some others into joining me.

I've set up a donation page, if anyone wants to help out. Even if it raises just a little bit, its better than nothing. Here's the link
